Second, consider the indoor access. From that door, how will they get to the location of the furnace? Again, tidy up or move away any obstacles. Also clear the work area around the furnace, which should always have a five-foot clear space around it for safety reasons, anyway.
Finally, we’d like to mention pets. As lovely as they can be, they can also get underfoot. And sometimes a process like this, with strangers in the home, is stressful to them!
